I was orignally going to sen this to the Phantasy Star Pages, But I felt 
Sonic's a bit mor important in this topic.

This editorial is on yeh topic of similaraties between Sega's two flagship 
series, Sonic the Hedghog and Phantasy Star. First, how similar some 
cahracters are:

In many ways, Sonic the Hedgehog is identical to Chaz Ashley in PS4. For 
one, both are fighting a greater evil. For two, events in one anothers past 
are the reason for fighting the greater evil. (In Sonic's case, the 
roboticization of uncle Chuck; in Chaz's case, the murder of Alys Brangwin 
early in the storyline.) As well, notice that Sonic and Chaz both never, 
EVER give up, against all odds.

Another example is Chaos, the god of destruction, and the Profound Darkness. 
Both have been sealed for thousands of years (or repeatedly for one thousand 
years, if you prefer) and when they are unleashed, cause mass destuction 
(Perfect Chaos destroys Station Square; Profound Darkness kills everyone in 
a small desert town and a massive academy, both cannot be cdestroyed without 
he help of varied magical objects (The Chaos Emeralds, the Rings of the 
Stars, the Elysdeon sword, etc.)
A less direct similarity' It seems like several graphics from PS4 were 
ported over to Sinoc 3, an vice versa. Find graphics fom the varied 
technological buildings such as Nurvus and Kuran; They're errily similar to 
those of Death Egg, Scrap Brain, etc. Look at the mountians on Dezolis; they 
apper to have been based off of the ones in the Ice Cap zone from Sonic 3. 
Second, note that both Dezolis and Ice Cap are in eternal winter.

A few of the robots from PS4 are similar to ones in the Sonic games. First 
off, the Neowhistles. These things are basically identical to Launch Base's 
Flybot signaling devices, despite the alternate looks. (You know, the lights 
hat send in the Flybot 767s when you cross them) The Warren286 robots and 
the enhanced versions, although looking differently, are AIs that do the 
bidding of Daughther, which is trying to destroy varied sytsems on Algo. 
Likewise, the E-100 series robots are AIs programmed to do the bidding of 
Robotnik, who's trying to destroy the entire world.

One final similarity, that's more obvious: Robotnik seeks to control the 
entire world. Lassic (Phantasy Star 1) controls the world with an iron fist. 
It's so similar, it almost seems like Phantasy Star is a continuation of 
Sonic. As well, note that Robotnik and Lassic were both good at on point: 
robotnik was turned evil by the ROCC device, while Lassic was tuned evil by 
the cloak of the black religion.

One last note: I can SWEAR I saw Dark Force in the background lights pattern 
while looking at Robotnik's base in Mstic Ruins. I'm not kidding.

I understand if you think I am pulling hairs with these similarities, but 
they are all true, except mabye the last one. (that may just be me)
